Connect Fellix to Claude

Add Fellix to Claude as a connector, sign in, choose an organization and what Claude may do, and decide which Fellix tools Claude may use without asking.

Connect Fellix to Claude and you can work in Fellix from a chat with Claude. Claude can look up a client, read a conversation and draft the reply, list or move appointments, and report on your inbox and pipeline, whenever you ask.

Claude acts as you. It sees only what you see in Fellix and can do only what your role allows, within the permissions you approve when you connect. Any member of an organization can connect it for themselves.

Before you start

  • A Claude plan that allows custom connectors. If you do not see Add custom connector in step 1, your plan does not include them.
  • Your Fellix sign-in. You sign in to Fellix once, in the browser, while connecting.
  • The server address: https://api.fellix.ai/mcp. You can also copy it in Fellix: account menu → Account Settings → Connected apps → Copy address.

Step 1: Add Fellix in Claude

  1. In Claude, open Customize → Connectors, then choose Add → Add custom connector.
  2. Enter the name Fellix and the address https://api.fellix.ai/mcp.
  3. Choose Continue. You do not need to change any OAuth setting: Claude identifies itself to Fellix automatically.

Step 2: Sign in to Fellix and choose what Claude may do

  1. Choose Connect. Claude opens Fellix in your browser; sign in if you are asked to. You see Claude wants to connect to your Fellix account.
  2. Organization: if you belong to more than one, choose the one Claude should work in. Only organizations where your role can grant something are listed.
  3. Permissions: everything your role holds is ticked. Untick what Claude should not have. At least one permission must stay ticked.
  4. Choose Authorize. You are taken back to Claude.

Step 3: Decide which tools Claude may use without asking

Claude has its own permission setting for every connector. Open Customize → Connectors → Fellix. Fellix's tools come in two groups:

  • Read-only tools (31): look things up and report, change nothing.
  • Write/delete tools (15): send, book, move or change something.

For each group, or for a single tool, choose Always allow, Needs approval or Never.

Step 4: Ask

The screenshot below comes from a sample organization, Fellix Review. Its clients and appointments are invented.

"Which Fellix organization am I connected to, and as whom? Then list my next three appointments."

Claude answers that it is connected to Fellix Review as Review Team with the owner role, then lists three appointments in Pacific time
Claude confirms the organization and the person it acts as, then lists the next appointments in the organization's time zone.

More to try:

  • "Which conversations are waiting for a reply? Draft an answer to the oldest one."
  • "What did Maria Lopez last ask about, and when is her next appointment?"
  • "Which open leads have not heard from us in three days?"
  • "How did the team do this week? Show response times by person."

Fellix also offers three ready-made prompts, which Claude lists with the connector's other options:

  • Inbox briefing: what moved in the inbox lately and what needs a person, without changing anything.
  • Follow up warm leads: open hot and warm leads that have gone quiet, each with a drafted follow-up. Nothing is sent until you approve it.
  • Today's appointments: the day's appointments in the organization's time zone, with what still needs confirming.

What it will not do

  • Take payments. No Fellix tool charges a card or takes money.
  • Use a channel your organization has not connected. For example, it cannot send a WhatsApp message without a connected WhatsApp number.
  • Go beyond your role. If your role cannot do something in Fellix, Claude cannot do it either.
  • Delete things or change settings. No tool deletes clients, conversations or messages, and none changes settings, members, channels or billing.

Good to know

  • Under your name. Everything Claude sends or changes is recorded as done by you.
  • How long it lasts. A connection lasts up to 90 days. It ends sooner if it goes unused for 30 days. Then press Connect in Claude again.
  • One organization per connection. To switch, disconnect and connect again, choosing the other organization.
  • Limit. You can have up to 10 connected apps in each organization.

Disconnect Claude

  • In Fellix: account menu → Account Settings → Connected apps → Disconnect on the Claude row. It stops working at once.
  • In Claude: Customize → Connectors → Fellix → Disconnect. To be sure the access has ended, disconnect it in Fellix as well.

Troubleshooting

What you see What to do
No Add custom connector in Claude Your Claude plan does not include custom connectors, or on Team and Enterprise only an owner can add one. Ask your Claude administrator.
Your organization is not in the list Your role there cannot grant any permission. Ask an owner of that organization to check your role.
"You already have 10 connected apps in this organization. Disconnect one under Account Settings → Connected apps and try again." Disconnect one you no longer use, then connect again.
"This authorization request is not valid" Nothing was granted. Go back to Claude and press Connect again.
Claude says the connection is no longer valid It expired or was disconnected. Press Connect in Claude again.
Claude says the credential does not have a permission (scope) You unticked it while connecting. Disconnect, connect again and leave that permission ticked.
"Your role in this organization cannot do this in Fellix, so an assistant acting as you cannot either. An owner can change your role." The action needs a role you do not have. Ask an owner.
Claude does not use Fellix in a chat Check that the Fellix connector is switched on for that chat, and that its tools are not set to Never.
